Your data lives on your device.

Chats, history, bookmarks, Browse context, and files are encrypted and stored locally. When you ask Solace's Chat a question, only the data relevant to that request is sent off your device. Browse context allows you to ask Solace about your last 7 days of activity. This is powered by summaries, created on our servers and stored locally on your device. Browse context can be disabled in Settings at any time.

Your data is only shared when needed.

When your request is routed to our servers, we only send the necessary data (your question, the page you're on, etc.) to our partners. They are under contract not to store or train their models on your data once your request is complete. Solace will also work to avoid storing and processing data from sensitive sites (like banks or healthcare).

You can delete your data at any time.

When you clear your chats, files, or history, they're gone for good. And when you browse in incognito mode, nothing is ever stored. If you choose to share your content data with Solace, it's not tied to your profile and is deleted after 30 days. (Learn more about content data below.)

Your data is not for sale.

We will never sell your personal data. Period. We only use it to help Solace provide the most accurate and helpful results.

When you share content data

Content data includes things like the pages you visit, the questions you ask, and the answers you receive in Chat. When you share your content data with us, it helps us improve the speed and accuracy of our models. We really appreciate it, and take extra steps to maintain your privacy throughout the process.

Here's how it works:

• When your content data leaves your device, it is no longer tied to your profile. Your content data then lives on your device and on our servers for 30 days while we use it to improve Solace. When we process it on our servers, we can only see the data itself, not who sent it.
• The data is deleted from our servers after 30 days. We can't remove it sooner, even if you request, because it's no longer associated with you.
• Solace will also work to avoid storing and processing data from sensitive sites (like banks or healthcare).

As you use Solace, you remain in control. You can stop sharing content data at any time in the Privacy panel in Settings.
